YOGA

Q: I’m brand new to yoga — is this for me?
Absolutely. At our Highett studio, we welcome every body and every level. You don’t need to be flexible or experienced — just bring your curiosity and an open heart. Our teachers will gently guide you, offering options and support so you can feel safe and at ease from your very first class.

Q: What should I bring to class?
Just yourself, a water bottle, a towel, and clothing you can move comfortably in. We provide mats and props, but if you love your own, you’re welcome to bring it along.

Q: How many people are in each class?
We keep things intentionally small — just 10 mats per class — so every student has space to breathe, move, and be personally supported.

Q: Which class is best for me?
If you’re unsure where to begin, a slow-flow class is a beautiful place to start. From there, you can explore more dynamic or restorative styles as your practice unfolds.

PRIVATE YOGA

Q: What is private yoga?
Private yoga is a deeply personal way to explore your practice with one-on-one guidance. It’s tailored specifically to your body, your energy, and your goals — a moment to be fully seen and supported.

Q: Who are private sessions best suited for?
Private sessions are wonderful for beginners, those returning to practice, working with injuries, or simply craving more individual attention and care.

Q: How do private sessions work?
We’ll begin with a short conversation to understand what you need, then create a personalised practice — whether that’s grounding, energising, strengthening, or deeply restorative. Sessions can be booked as a one-off or in a series.

VEDIC MEDITATION

Q: What is Vedic Meditation?
Vedic Meditation is a simple, effortless technique that allows the body to rest more deeply than sleep. With this deep rest, stress begins to dissolve at its root, leaving you feeling clearer, calmer, and more connected to yourself.

Q: Do I need to be spiritual or ‘good at meditating’ to learn?
Not at all. This is a technique for real life — no beliefs, rituals, or effort required. In fact, the less you try, the easier it becomes.

Q: How is Vedic Meditation different from an app or guided meditation?
Unlike guided meditations, this is a self-sustaining practice. Once you learn, you can meditate anywhere, anytime — no devices needed.

Q: How quickly will I feel the benefits?
Many people notice shifts within just a few sessions — deeper sleep, less stress, and more ease in their day. Over time, it becomes a steady anchor in your nervous system and your life.

INFRARED SAUNA

Q: What’s special about the infrared sauna?

Our
Sunlighten infrared sauna gently warms your body from within, creating a deeply restorative sweat without the intensity of traditional steam. It’s calming, detoxifying, and the perfect way to unwind in the heart of Highett.

Q: What should I bring or wear?
Light, breathable clothing or swimwear, and water to stay hydrated. We’ll provide everything else to make your experience nourishing and comfortable, including towels, and a complimentary hydration drink post sauna

Q: How long should I stay in the sauna?
Most sessions are 25–45 minutes. We encourage you to listen to your body — this is your time to soften, rest, and let go.

WORKSHOPS + EVENTS

Q: What kinds of workshops do you offer?
We host a rotating calendar of heart-expanding offerings — from free community meditation sessions, women’s gatherings,  men’s gatherings, sound baths, Vedic Meditation courses, Ayurvedic-inspired wellbeing workshops, and soulful seasonal gatherings. Each event is crafted to help you reconnect, grow, and feel more like you.

Q: Do I need to have experience to join a workshop?
Not at all. Our workshops are welcoming to everyone — beginners and experienced students alike. You’ll feel at home here, whether you come solo or with a friend.

Q: How often do you run special events?
We offer events regularly throughout the year to keep our community inspired, connected, and gently evolving together.

GENERAL STUDIO QUESTIONS

Q: Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, please book all classes and sauna bookings via the INNDRIYA App (find in the App Store, and Google Play). Because our classes, sauna sessions, and events are intentionally intimate, we recommend booking ahead to secure your spot — especially during peak times.

Q: Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there’s plenty of free street parking around the studio, making it easy to arrive feeling calm and unhurried.

Q: Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many of our guests come solo. The studio is a warm, welcoming space where everyone belongs. You might just find your new favourite corner of Bayside here.

Q: I’m nervous to try something new.
We understand — stepping into something new can feel tender. Know that you’ll be met with kindness, care, and no expectation to be anything other than yourself. You’re already enough.
